Shadow and Bone 3/5 ⭐️ - I read this so I could watch the new show. I loved it until I didn’t. The ending really ruined this book for me 😭 The next book is on my TBR and hoping for some redemption.
Six of Crows 5/5 ⭐️ - I LOVED THIS. I just finished it a few hours ago and can’t wait to start on Crooked Kingdom. Highly recommend.
The Rest of the Story 4/5 ⭐️ - this was a quick read. It’s a typical Sarah Dessen coming of age book, nothing special, but is great as an in between read when you’re not quite ready to dive into another 1,000 page book (I’m looking at you Words of Radiance). I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
The Lost Apothecary 3/5 ⭐️ - I didn’t know how much I needed an apothecary book until this one. I wish the author would have focused more on the storyline of the past instead of Caroline’s as there were parts of this book I did not find very interesting. Overall, an enjoyable book.
Turtles All the Way Down 3/5 ⭐️ - This book is centered around a girl who suffers from OCD and anxiety portrayed in the most brutal and honest way. I resonated with Aza in so many ways but because of the far fetched plot, I have to give this one 3 stars.
